As always, the Malaysian National and Interstate Bowling Championship is the most glamerous tournament in the country, with a prize fund of RM82,580.00, with the Men's Open category prizes of up to 10th position. It attracts more than 300 participants nationally. This is definitely an event not to be missed.

For the first time, Seniors Division will be featured in the Interstate Championships with 2 Senior men and 2 senior women (50 years and above) competing in Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Team events.
