Fourth gold for Selangor

30th September, Petaling Jaya: Doubles gold medalists, Ridhar Rahman B Riza Abdullah and Muhammad Aiman Syahin teamed up with Nor Ziedan Asyraf B Nor Azliman and Muhammad Nur Arysyi to win Selangor's fourth gold medal of the 36th Interstate Tenpin Bowling Championships 2025 with victory in the Boy's Team of 4.

Selangor, who had led the first block of three games earlier today, slipped down to second with 806 after Pahang's Muhammad Sufi Fitri, Muhammad Danish Faris, Ahmad Izz Zafran and Muhammad Danial fired a sizzling 909 to take over the lead by 31 pins.

Pahang added another superb 867 in the fifth game to remain in the lead as Selangor continued to struggle and managing only 818 to trail in second by 66 pins. Pahang suffered a setback managing only 749 in the final game.

Selangor bounced back with a brilliant 860 to snatch victory with 5014 for their fourth gold medal. Pahang settled for the silver medal with 4960, 54 pins adrift.


Youth Boys Team gold medalists, Selangor

WP Kuala Lumpur's quartet of Muhammad Aiman Fardan, Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Fauzul Azziem and Mahammad Danish, who reeled in 936, 847 and 824 in the second block to clinch the bronze medal with 4905. Sarawak missed the podium by 59 pins after finishing fourth with 4846.

Meanwhile Sarawak's Anathacia Gadding John Lon, Nur Fathi Fatihah, Adriana Ramiza and Claudia Kumang Anak Jakson, who led the first block earlier, continued to set the pace in the second block with a splendid 841 in the fourth game.

Selangor's Adelia Nur Irwan, Intan Nor Edryana, Qurratu'Ain Izdihar and Adania Mohd Redzwan shared second spot with Pulau Pinang's Asiha Medina, Nur Sara Shahira, Nurul Aiisya Sofea and Mayra Khayreena trailing the Sarawakian quartet by 123 pins.

Sarawak lost its lead after managing only 778. Selangor shot a superb 844 to take over the running while Pulau Pinang slipped to fourth behind Sabah. But Selangor stumbled to a disastrous 705 in their final game to hand the victory to Sarawak with a total of 4648.

Selangor settled for the silver with 4637, just 11 pins away while Sabah's Nur Aleeya Syakirah, Natalie Chong Yi Wen, Chloe Ho Rui Zhi and Singles gold medalist, Nur Jeehan Iezzaty earned the bronze medal with 4626.


Youth Girls Team gold medalists, Sarawak

Muhammad Aiman Syahin picked up his third gold and Selangor's fifth after topping the Youth Boys All Events standings with 4081. Muhammad Danish of WP Kuala Lumpur took the silver with 3984 and Muhammad Danial Bin Abu Samah of Pahang earned the bronze medal with 3909.

Nur Jeehan Izzaty won her second individual gold medal and Sabah's fourth by topping the Youth Girls All Events standings with 3782. Claudia Kumang Anak Jakson of Sarawak took home the silver with 3708 and Qurratu'Ain Izdihar of Selangor earned the bronze medal with 3642.
